A quick tour shows one downtown Greenville SC condos for sale at Poinsett Corners. Poinsett Corners is one of the first Greenville SC condo developments to rise in the downtown area. Personally I like the location because it is just off Main St. across the road from the Peace Center. Depending on the side you are located on you can see the Reedy River. Poinsett Corners is also good because it sits just about in the middle of Main St. not too far from the Hyatt on North Main, just across the street from Sobys and right behind the Poinsett Westin. Walk to the right and you are in the West End where you can enjoy the Falls Park, High Cotton, Rick Erwins, or concerts on the Reedy River. Current regime fees for active listings run between high 100's/mo to 300's/mo. Let's continue our Greenville South Carolina Condo tour shall we?
Let's take off up Main Street past the Hyatt Regency. A couple of more blocks and you will find 400 North Main downtown Greenville SC condos. Stylish, great curb appeal with some room. Located across from the Holiday Inn Express these condos feature outside terraces, custom decorated lobbies, and a gated garage parking spot and one outside gated parking spot. 19 units in the building. Currently there is nothing available. (this may change daily so check links). Close to downtown jazz and the ever popular Cafe and Then Some.
Let's head back down Main St. and take a left on Washington. A couple of blocks and just behind Christ Church Episcopal is The Davenport. This is an older apartment building that was converted to condos. These were one of the first downtown Greenville SC condos. You will find reasonable pricing here with a current unit going around $99,900 for shell only. You can get in the $400,000's though. Charming old wood floors, nice courtyard. Sits right beside Church St. and is very close to the new Publix that was just opened a while back. Per Greenville MLS regime is around $178/mo to $210 a month.
Sorry, I missed the Bookends... Let's back up a couple of blocks to McBee Ave. Quite stylish, fairly new, nice layouts. Some good views too. There is currently one available close to %500,000. You will find lots of windows and light here. Great location just a few blocks off Main Street. Gated garage parking. Some retail below the condos.
More Greenville SC Condos?
Ok, I'm leaving The Bookends and taking a left off McBee and heading back down Main toward the Reedy River and Falls Park. We are going to pick the price range up a bit at The Terrace at River Place... You can get in the $900's here with a 2500 sq. ft. unit. 3 bedrooms, 3 baths. Very nice views of the downtown, Reedy River, Mountains. Great balcony! These are located just behind the Hampton Inn Riverplace and High Cotton. Falls Park is two blocks away. Can walk to see the Greenville Drive play too.
If you don't want to spend that much then 155 Riverplace is very nice too. You have underground parking and adjoin the Hampton Inn. Currently there is one priced at $280,000. (this can change daily). Current Regimes for active listings high $200s per month to $358/mo. These are in a great location right at the West End close to the Fluor Field...
Speaking of the Greenville Drive, if you can't get enough of baseball...how about live at the park? Check out the Field House! Balcony opens directly to the field. You are going to pay low 200s to 700s here. What a view..if you love baseball! You'll get a gated garaged parking space, 12 foot ceilings and an attractive place to live or visit. Regime per mls run between $181 and up per month. Check out Liberties Tavern in the building!
A couple of other downtown Greenville condos to consider would be Court St. Condos, in the old converted Baptist Church. Currently there is one available around $250,000. These are right across the street from Poinsett Corners. Regimes $200 + per month.
Go a few blocks off Greenville's Main St. and you can get some good value at Virginia Condos. Currently there are none available. But check back! These are some converted apartments located beside The Poinsett Club. Some of these have been done very nicely.
The condo market is very tight now with pricing rising. I'd check back here regularly or bookmark a results page so you can keep up. They are going pretty fast!
Finally, I want to mention that I don't have all complexes listed here because some condos are above buildings, etc. and just don't have a name. You can see all available at my Downtown Greenville SC Condo Page of active listings.
