Return to Beginning of Downtown Greenville SC Photo Tour for September

So I've made it down to the West End and right outside
Smoke on the Water is
Shoeless Joe Jackson himself! Stop in and get you some good pulled pork!

If you still haven't eaten, stop by Saffrons and enjoy the patio. I tell you folks,
downtown Greenville SC has just about anything you want to pick from to eat....

Hey don't know if he is still there but I helped the manager of the Warehouse buy in Greenville. Folks, there are numerous places you can go to catch some great theatre in Greenville.

Or just a few steps more maybe you'd just like to catch some good music. Check out Smiley's, open late night!

Look what I came across! Need something sweet,
Funnelicious, Greenville SC! Still down on the West End!

Did I mention there are plenty of
Lofts in Greenville SC to choose from.
Brick Lofts!

If you keep walking you are finally going to run into
Greenville Sr. High. Much money has been spent on the schools in Greenville for upgrades and new construction. I've had 3 children go there!

I got off Augusta St. and headed towards Fluor Field, stop by
West End Coffee for some coffee!

I made it to
Flour Field where you will find Liberties Restaurant, Office Space and Condos! Oh yeah...a great baseball field too!!
Fluor Field, Greenville Drive Baseball!

Still
down on the West End. One of the neat things about Greenville South Carolina is interesting buildings that have been preserved and turned into shops, restaurants, etc.
912 South Main St.,
Custom House Condos under construction on the West End!

Downtown Greenville SC Scenes on The West End!
Greenville Army and Navy Store! This place has been here forever and is still in business! I stopped in when I was doing this photo tour and yep, it's pretty much still the same! I'm very curious as to why the owner has never sold this property. It is a prime corner location in the West End and I'm sure the upstairs could be converted into some pretty nice condos!

Looking for another great place to eat? Check out
Rick Erwin's on the
West End of Greenville!

Did I mention new construction is still going strong in
Downtown Greenville? Looks maybe like some new condos going in!
The Reedy River

Now folks, there are a lot of condos in Downtown Greenville, lot for sale too, but you'll never see these go on the market. Yes, they are
Riverplace Condos, currently one of three different buildings. What makes these special? They are right on and look out to the
Reedy River. No if anyone ever wanted to sell one of these, they will go with no problem. The top floor is divided into to penthouses. I've been told the Peace sisters own these. I under Mr. Spinx owns one here too.
Downtown Greenville City Scenes outside the
Downtown Greenville Marriott Courtyard.

Again, interesting buildings and city scenes...
Liberty Clock and Chamber of Commerce Building.
Greenville Water System Building.

I'm heading back up North Main now and thought I'd get you a quick shot of the front of these fellows standing guard outside
OP Taylors, a real neat toy store. The first
OP Taylors I visited was in Brevard NC!

Need to send something? It's all downtown,
UPS Store right on Main St.

I bet it sure is pretty on that outside garden patio!

The fellow who started it all
Max Heller watches over the Main Street he was instrumental in creating!
