August 23:
Hey! Good morning. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Man, we have been getting the rain lately, luckily yesterday was just beautiful. Folks, One thing I want to mention, which I've already mentioned is the amount of things to do in the Upstate. Of course, you all know there is plenty to do in Downtown Greenville SC, but there is a ton of stuff to do in other areas too!
I buzzed down to Lake Rabon this Saturday to photograph a triathlon and had a lot of fun. The YMCA sponsored it and they had over 100 participants not only from the Upstate but from other states. Biking is very popular in the Greenville area to. Really you can find most anything to do that you are interested in.
Hey, I've got an inspection report I've got to go over with some of my buyers this morning. I've also got a few new pages to write for my site. Please call me if there is anything I can help you with and have a wonderful day!

August 20:
Good morning and a Happy Friday to ya! Hey, I want to talk about an email inquiry I got the other day.
Folks, I get two kind of buyers/lookers searching for Greenville SC Real Estate and homes for sale on my site.
I get folks who are interested in me helping them make a good decision, folks who under the value of having an exclusive buyers agent on their side.....then I get folks who want to know stuff about homes.
There's a huge difference. Those who read my site and and those with an understanding of buyer agency usually email me or call me and ask for help finding a home.
Then there are those who don't....well here's the email I got.
"Is this home still for sale? If so, since it is on 2.17 acres, I would assume that it includes both pieces of land that are highlighted on the platt. Correct? Also, would the owners consider a contingency?"
I simply answered,
"I would have to check for you. Do you need a buyers agent?"
And folks, here's the response I got,
"No, I do not need a buyers agent right now. However, thank you for your time. I will have someone else check on this listing for me that is willing to earn my business."
All I can say is WOW. I mean, I just don't know what to say. Folk, I'm always glad to help but, you've got to want my help and understand what I do. Buying a home is a process, and I'm a professional just like a doctor or lawyer. You wouldn't ask a lawyer to look up something for you without an understanding or agreement....would you?
I mean I asked a simple question...if the gentleman needed a buyer's agent. Well, if you don't need a buyers agent to help you with your decision, then why would I help you? You just told me you don't need me. Hey, my pay is contingent on you buying something, I'm certainly not going to help if I don't even know if you will use me.
And that's right folks, there are tons of buyers out there making their own decisions daily or buying through the listing agent. Hey, more power to you, but you wouldn't believe some of the bad decisions that have been made in these circumstances. Remember, the listing agent is always working for the seller, not for you.
Thankfully, most inquires are a lot different from that. Hey, let's check what's going on in Downtown Greenville South Carolina this weekend.
Sea Rock City is playing at Centre Stage, Growing up Upcountry at the Upcountry History Museum. From Russia with Laughs at Greenville Little Theatre and the Greenville Drive will be hosting the Charleston River Dogs at Fluor Field.
Ya'll have a great weekend, I'll be shooting some more high school football tonight!

Wow, I can't believe that it's been 10 days since I've posted. I've just been very busy folks. When I have an out of state buyer who gets their home under contract and has to buy something, I can assure you that we have to get after it!!
Hey, I tell you I really appreciate it when I get a big thank you from a client. John from MA, just dropped off a nice gift card to one of my favorite places to eat. I know he's happy. Got a beautiful place out in the country with enough land to spread out. Of course he loves the tax rate here too! Home has a beautiful yard and very nice sun room! I tell you that's what it's all about!
Also, just put one under contract for a very nice family relocating from Maryland. I think they were sold on the beautiful wrap around porch! That one is closing end of September along with a condo I've got one under contract for a nice couple who just want a place to stay downtown when they are in Greenville.
I live on about an acre and a half and had some trees cut about a week ago. My lot is very wooded and of course some trees just die and I had a poplar that always started losing it's leaves in June, well that was a pain, since most of them blew into our pool. Had that one cut too. Anywho, I wouldn't do what those guys do for anything. Here's a couple of shots! Check it out!

Hey, I've also been busy now that high school football is starting. Been shooting some scrimmages, which I love to do. Friday night football is so exciting!

Well, I've got a few web pages that I've got to update so ya'll have a good one and call me if I can help! 864-335-8490.

Good morning and Happy Friday! Let's check and see what's happening in Greenville South Carolina this weekend.
The Learned Ladies and The Importance of Being Earnest are playing at the Warehouse Theatre, Sea Rock City is at Centre Stage, The Greenville Opera is performing The Magic Flute at Christ Church, The Greenville Drive are playing the Rome Braves at Fluor Field, Main St. Fridays will be going on right out my WOW upstate office and of course The Carolina First Saturday Market will be tomorrow morning at Main St. and McBee.
And I just wanted to take a minute to thank Alan and Anne for the nice gift certificate they sent me. They relocated to Greenville from the Northeast and are two of the nicest people I have met. Thank you!
Ya'll have a good one and stay cool!

Somebody Stopped by for a Drink Yesterday!
August 5:
Good morning! Hey, if you been wondering why I haven't posted in a week, guess what I actually got a vacation! Yeah! Sort of a special one too, my wife and I headed down to Hilton Head for a few days, it was our anniversary! We had a great time.
The neat thing about Greenville is that you are never too far from anywhere! Takes us about 3.5 hours to get there. So, Greenville SC is about 1.5 hours from Charlotte, 2.5 from Atlanta, 1 from Asheville and only about 3.5 to the coast!
I've gotta run, I've got two retiring couples that are considering Greenville SC as their place to call home! Ya'll have a good one and cal me if I can help!
