Gosh, I can't believe it's been six days since I've posted. So let's check the market over the past week and see what's happened in the Greenville MLS.
We had:
259 New Listings
226 Price Changes
144 Closed Sales
109 Listings Expired
There are 677 Pending Transactions heading towards closing! That's up a bit!
Notables would be properties in Adams Run, Asheton Springs, Augusta Rd., Barrington Park, Kilgore Plantation, Kilgore Farms, Neely Farms, North Main, Orchard Farms, Thornblade, just to name a few.
Folks, I'm still staying pretty busy though it is slowing down some for the holidays, always does. It's funny, I had a realtor from out of town call me the other day and asked me to help a fellow who is coming to the area. I am always glad to assist but he was going to come in and look the 23rd of December. Folks, not many people want you in their homes 2 days before Christmas, and honestly I've got family in and Christmas is just a very special time for me. I love what I do but not on the 23rd of December...
Anyway, to each his own. By the way, I'm planning a Christmas video tour for you I will be putting together soon. Hey, can you believe that Turkey day is almost here? I hope we will all have a good one.

Heading to Sunset Beach NC for our Annual Family Thanksgiving
Hey folks, you know, I had a great couple in yesterday from the Baltimore area just visiting to see "what's Greenville all about". They are investigating a few areas for retirement. Nice people, I hope they come here. Anyway, man have we had the rain...we've had over 2 inches in the past 24 hours, about 4 over the last couple of days. It's not normally this wet. But I'll take it cause we need it. So what's going on in Greenville?
The market is taking that normal year end Holiday slow down. It's ok though, I've got plenty on the books. This down time gives me the opportunity to go out and video and visit places for pictures!

It's a Great Friday folks!!! Just got an email from my broker. Looks like the tax credit will be extended and expanded!! I'll detail and update appropriate pages when I have time but here's the email from my broker!! Will confirm this and update you later!
President Obama is expected to sign the newly revised Homebuyer Tax Credit into law today, following its overwhelming passage in both the House and the Senate yesterday. Attached you will find a comparison chart that I just pulled from NAR’s web site. It does a good job of detailing the differences between the February 2009 law and the one anticipated to be signed by the President today. The previous $8,000 credit has been extended (for folks not owning a primary residence in the last three (3) years has been extended). However, the HUGE difference in this law is the addition of (up to) a $6,500 tax credit for “existing” home owners. The credit only applies to “primary” residences and the property must go under contract by April 30, 2010 and close by July 1, 2010. But this is GREAT news for our industry and for each and every RE/MAX Associate.

Good morning folks. We've got a nice steady rain falling here. Which is great since I just put out some winter rye grass. Hey, shot the Byrnes - Dorman High School Football Game Friday night. Game pictures are posted here. Byrnes is always ranked as one of the top high school football teams in the nation and Dorman was undefeated.
