Taylors South Carolina Real Estate:
Taylors is fairly close to downtown Greenville. If you were coming from downtown up Poinsett Hwy. you would pass Cherrydale Shopping Center and take a right then past Montebello and Half Mile Lake. Just past Half Mile Lake, Greenville turns into Taylors. Coming from 291 you would cross Wade Hampton Blvd. and Stallings Rd. Taylors is more due north of Greenville than Greer would be. Go a little further Northwest and you are in Travelers Rest.
Nice area although the downtown has not quite developed like Simpsonville or Greer. You will find one of the best values in a semi-private golf course in Pebble Creek Country Club. Dues are very reasonable and you get 36 holes, a pool and tennis. Small club house and pro shop. But the membership is very active here and you can always find a game of golf. Like other areas of Greenville, Taylors is developing nicely. And you will find plenty of homes for sale in various price ranges that will suit you needs.
Just a few statistics for you from the Greenville MLS as of January 1, 2008:
